Since its founding, ROUGH THEATER has produced original and daring works which reflect political and social concerns. We have perfomered in numerous Los Angeles theaters, arts festivals and non-traditional venues including the Venice Boardwalk, Runyon Canyon and Angel's Gate Park. We have received grants for artistic excellence from both the California Arts Council and the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
